Local Support Groups
Patients and health care professionals agree that having strong emotional support during a life-threatening illness is imperative for achieving optimum outcomes. In the past there have been very little available in the way of support for lung cancer patients. But fortunately today, there is a growing number of organizations that provide emotional and medical support via the telephone and online.
Contact these organizations for assistance in learning how to cope with a lung cancer diagnosis. Regain control and maintain hope. You are not alone!
